THE FESTIVAL
After the pilot edition of October 2020, whose demanding selection received a very good reception, we officially launched 'Le Chouette Festival' in October 2021.
Directors have come from as far away as Jordan!
Our festival is taking place every first weekend of October in Rieux Minervois.
This short film festival is made up of five categories: National, International, Young Audiences, Animation and the Dark Side, our "midnight to 9 p.m. screening" reserved for over 14s.
Opening of the festival on Friday evening, 'Red Carpet' evening on Saturday evening and "Awards" on Sunday evening. Local winegrowers will be in the spotlight throughout the weekend!
Monday to Fraiday will be devoted to schoolchildren.
What drives us: to offer for four days a space for meeting, sharing and exchange between professionals, enthusiasts and novices in the world of short films.
