THE GUEST OF 2022

After graduating from the Kyiv National IK Karpenko-Kary University of Theatre, Cinema and Television in 2013, director Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk took part in the talent campus at the Berlinale that same year. He created in Ukraine, where he is from, the Ukrainian screenplay platform: “Terrarium”. Pamfir, his first feature film has just been selected for the Quinzaine des cinastes at Cannes in 2022 and continues to have a good run in the selection.

 

We will screen his short film "The Weightlifer" which received a large number of awards and for which he wrote the script and directed. We hope to have him by our side for the festival so that he can interact with the public.
